Kimberly Butler is an award-winning photographer with hundreds of celebrities, newsmakers, and world leaders as clients. Her credits include book covers regularly featured on the New York Times’ best-sellers’ list. Her clients include major companies in film, cable television, network television, music, magazine and book publishing,radio and nonprofit organizations. She was inducted into the prestigious Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC.

For the past 13 years Kimberly Butler has covered photo assignments for People magazine including celebrity profiles, world leaders, major news and crime stories, World Trade Center survivors, U.S. Presidents, and Congressmen and Senators.

 



For the past 10 years Ms. Butler has photographed the American Library Association’s popular “READ” Celebrity Poster series, which is distributed throughout libraries and schools in America.

In addition to her celebrity portraiture, Kimberly Butler has traveled extensively in the Middle East as a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker - particularly in Jordan, Jerusalem, and Gaza. She has photographed and interviewed members of the Jordanian Royal Family, the Jewish Agency, and the Palestinian Authority, among others.

A native New Yorker, she graduated with honors from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She is a member of the PPA and IFP.
